So....I have pretty much entrenched myself into The Office fandom. Yes. *nods* I don't know what I'm doing, but there, I did it.

Plus, isn't Jim/Pam the major ship in the fandom? Because it'd be nice to be in a fandom where I'm NOT in the minority. Although, I'm totally not against reading other ships in fic.

I mean, dude, I just read a Jim/Kelly fic, that was sadly, oddly or weirdly, believeable. Set S2, for obvious reasons.

And I love Jim, but I love Pam. That may have been influenced by S3 being the first full season I saw, but that didn't change.

I think one of my favorite lines from Pam (I can't actually remember any from S2 because I just watched all of it too fast and I took my time with S1 here) was from "The Alliance":

"I suggested we flip a coin. But Angela said she doesn't like to gamble. Of course by saying that, she was gambling that I wouldn't smack her."

It was the facial expression, and delivery. And when she's nodding after she says it. And because I think we all wanted to do the same.

Of course, I also love when she realizes that she just quoted Popeye. Actually, I love all her lines in the S3 finale.

Yet another fandom to become obsessed with. Yay. *sigh*

I like Michael and Jan! I don't know if they're the healthiest choice for each other, but it does provide some amusing scenes.

It is rare that I like the functional couples. I usually fall for the messed up ones. Oh I don't know if they call them JAM. I am not in the fandom. But's that's my name for them.

Sometimes I like the functional ones, and sometimes I don't. It really depends on the show. And the couple.

I was asking because Jam is the hugely popular name that the Jim/Pam pairing got. I don't know if there is one for Michael/Jan.

Okay I just had a headdesk moment. Yeah that is the name for Jim and Pam. I am all confuzzled today. Heh I am a dysfuntion fan. The couples I have loved in soaps for decades are never ones that are the sweet apple pie pairs. And it is rare that I will like a good girl over a bad girl with layers.

It's always hard for me to tell what characters I'll like. Nine times out of ten, it's someone I relate to or just plain understand the most.

I know what you mean. It took me a whole season to try out fandom. It's mostly the fic.

Oh I know! That's one of the things that made me really like Pam to begin with, was seeing her grow.

And yes, one of Jim please!

I keep looking at Office icons, but I haven't snagged any. The only one I have, I made.

i would describe Jim/Pam as being dominant. yes. they are like the gigantic trees in the forest that rob other smaller tress (like Jim/Karen for instance) of light and they starve to death.

i also have no The Office icons. i've saved a lot but i haven't decided what icons i'm going to delete to add them and now the urge is kind of fading.

I absolutely love the US version. I'm about to start watching the UK version.

I will admit, I started The Office(US) because of a ship, hehe, but the show feels completely worth it.
