lafemmedarla did this not too long ago, and it seemed like a good idea, maybe I could finish them and have the year of fic!

Let's keep in mind that they're unfinished and some have been hardly looked at in months, so, yeah.

When you see this, post a little weensy excerpt from as many random works-in-progress as you can find lying around. Who knows? Maybe inspiration will burst forth and do something, um, inspiration-y.

Special Unit 2 fic that I talked about here, just I know, ages ago. Main character of Nick-centric, with some Nick/Kate (female lead) thrown in. Rated…PG-13/R, because I’m overly cautious like that :D I’m a little embarrassed about this excerpt, but it’s my favorite part I have written down.

The Office Jim/Pam, early stages of their relationship, so before season 4. Rated R, because again, I’m overly cautious and there’s more talk of sexage in this.

First one Tosh-centric with some Martha, most likely Martha/Tosh slightly, hints maybe?

Last one is Martha-centric with Tosh, it’ll probably be slight Martha/Tosh too

*flails* I wrote a Doctor Who fic last night!

When I posted that meme the other day, I got an idea for a five things fic for Martha and yesterday, I just sat down and wrote it.

From beginning to end. The whole thing. And it wasn't like my other 2 or 3 DW fics that were 300-400 words at the most, no, this one is more around 1400 words.

So...anyone willing to beta it for me? I'd love a brit-pick as well.

It's Five Things That Never Happened to Martha Jones, I'll give you one guess as to what one of those things are ;) and there's a little bonus Martha/Jack thrown in.

Day after Thanksgiving fic giving. Heh, this is the one that I've been working on for a little while. Not as long as another one I have in the wait, but pretty long. Got an idea in my head a couple weeks ago, and it stopped working! And then I got a surge and finished it. Typed it up, had a beta, fixed it a little myself and here it is.

Here's the Office fic I somehow wrote.

It's not really spoilerish, but I imagine it to take place sometime early in S4, which, ya know, hasn't aired (or started filming, I don't think). Has a small reference to the S3 finale, so there's that.

It's rated, like G or something, so ANYONE can read it. It's Jim/Pam, but from an outside POV, I guess. *sigh*

It's not something I'd imagine myself writing, but, there you go.

I titled it Something, Sometime. Lame, I know. And it's short. Like maybe 400 words.

And it's the strangest thing I've written, I really am not totally sure what to make of it. Okay, maybe not strange, but not something you'd think I would write.

But it's been stuck in my head, and I've been reading too many Office fics.

LJ's gone kinda crazy, hasn't it?

So, in effort to sort of ignore it and to not worry about things, I'm presenting to my f-list the Doctor Who fic I said I wrote the other day.

It's short, about 370 words, and it's about Rose, and it takes place immediately after "The Doctor Dances". I'm just giving it to you guys, letting you all be my betas and and brit-pick and whatever and then everyone else can read it. So this is flocked for now.

It's sort of Nine/Rose, because how can I resist, but there's nothing really going on, just some dancing and Rose's thoughts and whatever. No dialogue. Weird.

My tentative title choice is everything we have is all we need. Lower-case because it's cool like that. ;) It's a lyric from a Snow Patrol song, I believe, and I liked it.

This could probably get away with a G-rating. Because I'm boring like that. The other fic I wrote (Special Unit 2, which I'm still baffled about) probably earns an R-rating or PG-13 at the least.

I wrote Doctor Who fic. Seriously. Not only that, but it's not Nine/Rose. It features Jack and Rose, immediately after "The Doctor Dances", might not be something you'd expect, I'm not really sure. Small cameo from Nine in the beginning. Anyway...

I don't so much need a beta, although that's not a bad idea, but I wouldn't mind having a brit pick. In fact, I'd love one. It's a short fic, about 450 words, probably PG, hell, maybe even G. I don't really know how this would work, but let me know. I'd love to post this sometime today or tomorrow. The idea for the fic just hit me full force.

Somehow I stumbled across this fic on this website, and came to really really love it. It has the Ninth Doctor (along with many other Doctors, with a few other companions as cameos), Rose and Jack. It's awesome, set right before "Boom Town".

It's called "Ghost in the Machine" by Rain. It has multiple chapters, but it's a pretty quick read. I've no idea what I really liked about it, it was just entertaining, and really played on the fact that Rose really had no clue about regeneration, and even after seeing some past Doctors, she still doesn't get it and he still doesn't explain, in any form.

I should actually have a nice little rec list of Doctor Who fic within the week, so look out for that.
