HELLO DARLINGS. I just disappeared. I think I commented on random posts, but I feel that I've been really out of it. It started with a really bad weekend and...well, I just now feel like it's picking up :)

OH AND also, who else watched Rachel Maddow pwn her guest Richard Cohen last night? Man, that felt good to watch. Frustrating because that man was infuriating and just plain wrong, but it's really nice to watch her in her element in a debate like that because she's just so calm and it just works so well like that.

So, I went with buying S2 of SPN. I ordered it online, which means I should be getting it any day now :D (Okay, I was a little forced, since at that moment they were out of S1)

Speaking of Supernatural, I used them for the current challenge on

picspammy. A little embarrassed about that, but I don't know. They're a new thing for me that I'm really into (you know that point, when you're really getting into searching and reading fic) and I got excited about buying one of the seasons. (Just for you guys, I spammed "Hunted" because I knew it'd be easier to narrow the picspam to one episode and because I remember really liking that episode and look forward to re-watching it).

I do believe that

velvet_midnight and

rory_elizabeth have birthdays coming up and I need to wish you guys happy times NOW or else I'll be late and I loathe being late, m'dears. SO, HAPPY BIRTHDAY (2-4 days early)!!

You know, when I go through my f-list, I really mean to comment in your journals. But the umph to do that isn't there :( I just go through the f-list. I'm gonna try harder on that, I like my f-list, you should all know that :D

And Supernatural........this is one that I'm glad I'm both recording it and watching it live because I'll definitely have to watch this one again. There were parts that were excellent and parts that were...well, sketchy.

I have enjoyed some downtime with my mom, she was on vacation for over a week. Me and the parents went up to the Florida Aquarium which...probably is just a little more fun at 12 instead of 22. But still, it's a beautiful place with awesome marine-life and a Goliath Grouper and they have the Coral Farm for education and as a restoration project.

AND I was looking through Doctor Who caps because I really want to get back to iconning and Martha is so easy (:D) and I was found wondering: Why did we never see this jacket again? (We saw it in very brief flashes during "Human Nature")

It's so much better than that red one!

AHAHAHA, I ACTUALLY FINISHED THE FIRST SEASON OF SUPERNATURAL.

I laugh because I haven't done this for a long time. Now, I have to actually continue since my goal is to catch up on the show. (I remember re-watching S1 of Roswell and...not continuing, I don't know why - but HEY, I've started on S2 so I'm already ahead)

I got to spend the night in my own bed last night for the first time in 2 weeks!

I'll probably, and finally, be home again by this weekend. My grandma is going loads better and my cousin in down here and will be with her for a week or so and then I probably won't be needed to stay with her overnight.

1: What fandoms did you acquire in 2007?
The Office, Robin Hood, Life, um...is that really it?

2: What fandoms did you let go of in 2007?
Most of Stargate: Atlantis and Doctor Who, and I completely withdrew from Battlestar Galactica, pretty much.

3: What fandoms did you mean to get into but didn't in 2007? Why?
Heroes, been meaning to, but since I can't get into incest or Sylar, I'm not sure I'd have a lot of fun in that fandom.

4: What fandoms do you intend on checking out in 2008?
Well, if things continue the way they do, none. But I plan on watching a couple things I haven't before and I might get into those fandoms, dunno yet. (I'm referring to Dexter and Life on Mars)

5: What fandoms do you think you might let go of in 2008 unless things significantly improve?
I'm thinking SGA, I don't know, maybe Doctor Who

6: What fandoms do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why?
I may say it, but I don't think I'll ever be able to get completely away from Doctor Who, and The Office, surprisingly.

7: What show impressed you most in 2007?
Geeze, um...the second half of S1 of Heroes, Life, Reaper, The Office (especially after finally watching S2), I know there's more...

8: What show impressed you least in 2007?
Stargate: Atlantis, S2 of Heroes, Scrubs, like the above, probably more...

Welcome new flisters whom I've picked up from the SGA/SG1 Friending Meme. Because I'm weird or whatever.

Ahem.

I just wanted to put this little post up, like warning or something.

I love Chris Eccleston *points to icon*, seriously, he's my man. And I am currently squeeing over Heroes because he ~~throws people off roofs~~ rocks. I occasionally have meta/discussion posts about the newer Doctor Who, less now because it's on haitus. Just want until March, when it's back. Also, Torchwood once in a while.

Um...currently am being eaten alive by SGA, which is a bit painful. Just a word here, I'm an Elizabeth fan first, Sheppard/Weir shipper second. I hope my shipping preferences don't bother anyone, as I really don't care who you ship. Yeah, what I mean by that is that I don't base opinions on people by who they ship.

I'm not very big on McShep though, as I view them as brotherly(shock!) and really not into Sheppard/Teyla. Most other ships, I can be pretty open to. McKay/Weir? Cute. McKay/Teyla? Yes and even Carson/Teyla. *sigh* That one could have had an interesting potential. Um...I've said it before probably, but I could ship Elizabeth with anyone, really. I have a huge Lizzie/Teyla softspot, friendship or whatever. And I find Ronon/Weir hot. Yeah, I'm a bad Sparky shipper.

But there will be no bashing! I'm huge on expressing my opinions and people understanding that it's my opinion, ask my older flisters(not that you guys are old or anything). Respect my opinion because I work hard to respect others, even if it's an opinion I don't like.

I hardly lock entries, now it seems I do it when I need to.

I also have a graphics journal, which when I update, I post here to let y'all know. I'm a comment whore as well. But I don't get bitchy about it.

I have language problems, as in, I will use strong language whenever excited or angry. See previous posts for examples.

DUDE, I caught "The Empty Child" on BBCAmerica the other day, I really think it's better, just a tiny, itty bitty bit, than "The Doctor Dances".
