Sep. 25th, 2007 05:07 pmSo...yeah, I watched Heroes last night. I enjoyed it, but it was a bit too much...of a set-up for the rest of the season, or first half of the season for my tastes. But still enjoyable.
I don't really have anything to say about it. Definitely more next week though, when we get some kind of answer about...anything.
I also want to use this post to say how excited I am about The Office. Encouraged by these two things...
When they posted the "What I did this summer..." videos, I was worried that they made-up Pam too much. But this gets me hopeful...

Because yeah, her hair is done differently, she has a different/new shirt (that covers everything), but her make-up is super low-key, which it seems weird, but I love it. Sure, I loved her growing up in S3, but I loved her in S2 as well. So, the make-up thing is hopefully a good sign that she's not completely changed.
But she's still so pretty.
Also...

Didn't expect him to have such a broad chest and shoulders. Nice. The chest hair, oddly, makes me giggle. Don't know why, I knew he had chest hair before.

Aw, snarky!Jim, how I love and missed you so.
Also, the interviews (also has 6 clips from the premiere) here with John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer have me so hopeful about S4.
People being all cynical about Jim/Pam getting together is threatening to hurt my squee, which is why John's interview in particular cheered me up. Dorks indeed. :D
Thursdays are gonna be so much fun on TV.
BTW, anyone gonna watch Reaper tonight, the new show on the CW?

Date: 2007-09-25 09:30 pm (UTC)It's on the list for tonight. Just found out about it actually from an article in the paper. I have to say it's a complete rip off of the Brimstone concept, but it's looks like it could be tremendously funny.
As for Heroes, I got to see the last 15 minutes of it, and had people jabbering all around me. Very disheartening. I'll don't know if I'll go as far as to bittorrent it or not.
I will say, and this is just so stupid, that while I was in another room and the promo was running for next week, I thought I heard Chris Eccleston's voice and just about broke my neck going back into the living room. It was one of those Irishmen talking, damn it.
Crossing fingers here for Claude to reappear.

Date: 2007-09-25 11:29 pm (UTC)There's room for improvement, but I still found it enjoyable.
That seems to be the sentiment this new TV season, with a lot of the new shows.

Date: 2007-09-25 11:32 pm (UTC)In the above link I have in the post, there's 6 clips from the episode, including the one where Jim's shirtless. Pam walks in on Michael changing (when he clearly says to come in) and he has no pants or underwear on and Jim seems to be mocking that in a talking head. It's awesome.
