You know what? The first few years of Malcolm in the Middle were awesome and hilarious. Francis at boot camp was just...so funny and Hal and Lois are just perfect. It's one of those sitcoms that's overlooked, I think.
Kind of like how King of the Hill is overlooked because it's aired with The Simpsons and Family Guy, but it's just as good, and in ways so much better, than both.
Although, someone's watching it as it's been on, what, 13 years?

Date: 2008-05-21 01:27 am (UTC)Yes, the Peggy's birthday episode - but the thing is, convoluted as it was, he was right to be frightened of the Texas Railroad Commissioner - that's the most important/influential post in Texas, forget Governor or Speaker of the House. The TRC regulates all intra- and interstate commerce and all energy shipment/sales - so yes, he could, in fact, be in danger of losing his position as a purveyor of propane and propane accessories! ;-)
