YAYYAYA and Icons

I just watched the pilot to Pushing Daisies...I FUCKING LOVED IT.

I think I'm gonna be watching it a couple more times before the show premieres. And it's NOT on FOX, right? I couldn't bare another Wonderfalls incident.

Which brings me to tell you all how I adore Lee Pace (the lead). That happened when I bought the DVDs of Wonderfalls (which, that show rocks! Watch it), and we finally got to see more of Jaye's brother, and I thought he totally rocked. In fact, one of my favorite episodes is "Crime Dog", which involves a little road trip and Lee has a fantabulous role there. And I'm a total sucker for good family interaction in shows, and the family interactions on Wonderfalls are just hilarious and awesome.

And he was so adorable in this pilot! And I loved Anna Friel. When seeing her, was I the only one reminded of Zooey Deschanel?

It was a bit cheesy, but that was to be expected, hopefully they'll tone that down (just a little!) in subsequent episodes. I can't wait to see more.
