So, it seems I'll be spending the foreseen weekends with my grandmother. It's quiet there.

And so I've nearly finished with S2 of Supernatural. I'm hoping I'm through with this season's "What did I just watch?!" episodes, of which there were more than one or two, sadly.

Just minor notes...I liked Jo, a lot. I liked Jo a lot in "No Exit" *gasp* (Right?) I mean, that's the one that everyone disliked her in, yes? Well, I didn't.

And, I'm not being mean 'cause she was fine in it, but there was just little point to have her in "Born Under a Bad Sign", it felt a little nonsensical other than showing us where she really went after leaving her mom. Unless that wasn't a planned last view of her, or if that was, it was missing...something. I don't know. OH and Mama Ellen kicks ass.

That's all I remember to really point out aside from, again, those fucking clowns. And fangirling a couple of their one-off actors like OMG Trica and Amber Benson and AHAHA Don Stark and Gary Cole (no fangirling, just amusement).

And all those Canadian actors that just totally get around. Everywhere.

Because I keep thinking on a shallow note...Jared was so cute on Gilmore Girls, I loved him on there (up to a point because I didn't like what they did to Dean in S3-5, even though he had his moments) but WOAH, he...um, he grew up. Wow. Seriously.

Why do they layer these boys in clothes so much?! (That's absolutely rhetorical)

Anddddd off to watch more episodes :D:D

I wondered if they included her in BUABS because she was originally signed on as recurring, maybe they had a certain number of episodes to include for her contract?

I think it's a shame how little a chance the show gave her character. She had a couple of brief appearances, but it wasn't until No Exit that her character got a decent role, and then the show seemed to give up on her character :/

That makes sense.

And you're right, it would have been nice to really sort of keep her around. Is it true fandom literally got rid of her?

Pretty much, they did the same with Bela :/ Although I blame a lot of it on the writers too. It feels to me like they cave in waaay to quickly to just give these characters chances for like 2/3 episodes before throwing in the towel. Apparently they alweays read the first five or 6 pages of TWoP episode threads, and they HATED Jo and Bela there.

Bela is S3, right? Is it possible the writers' strike screwed some of that up? I suppose I'll be seeing that soon.

WHY would any writer of any show read TWoP threads?! They shred good shows over there!

I have to disagree here. Many of the TWOP forums are cess pools.

Well, it's quite obvious the Smallville writers never visited there, and if they did they must have thought the people there weren't being serious because you're right, they definitely didn't try to please those fans.

The idea though that the SPN writers, by just reading this one website, changed things is annoying. Even if they read others, I don't know, I know TV shows are completely reliant on viewer numbers, but it still bugs me that writers "pander".

Jim/Pam are still cute, thank you!

I've read some of those posts and you're right, the people over there really do post some well thought out stuff. I've been surprised myself sometimes, but it's sad to think the writers won't take it seriously.

AWWWW, PEANUT. Pam's gonna look hilarious waddling around at 9 months.

Yeah, I really liked it, and really liked Jo in it.

OMG, the female women haters drive me bonkers, they're everywhere, but probably most prominent in a fandom like this. Which would be why I'm not touching it.

Heh, I couldn't ship it, I don't know why! But I really liked her and I'd love to see more of her. It's sad that that's it.

It is not easy to be a female character on SPN.

I've kind of noticed this, heh. Although, some of my absolute favorites have been the one-offs, some of them have been treated excellently. Although, am I getting the hint that S3 is worse?
