Oh, I love O Brother Where Art Thou? I watched it with my mom and we pointed out all the Odyssey references because we're nerds.
Um, YES. And I mean that I wasn't particularly attracted to him until I got to meet him and then, um, wow. It's probably better that way, actually, because if I got to meet him now I'd probably get all flustered and start rambling, but then I was able to hold a real conversation (a very short one) about like.. cinematography and stuff. I wrote about it--I can dig up the entry if you want to see.
I do like George Clooney a lot as a person, and I think O Brother may be his best performance (at least he's not vain, and that's a really big point in his favour), even though he does nothing for me in terms of attraction. His cousin, Miguel, on the other hand...
My ideal situation is for George to write and direct a really juicy film for Miguel, who's never gotten his due - because (and this will sound familiar), he's not "pretty".
