Apr. 19th, 2007 11:11 pmI loved Nine/Rose.
I didn't like Ten/Rose, could tolerate in certain ways, like "The Impossible Planet", which I loved.
I, surprisingly, like Ten/Martha.
OMG FLAME ME!!!111
Yes, I'm having too much fun with the ship wars now, shup up. It's either this or I get mean. I wanna have fun. *pouts*
From
croc_rocketfan , comment and I name you 3 interests from your list and 3 userpics and you explain them.
I'm doing it here because I love my userpics and will use every opportunity to exploit them.

I kinda used to be obsessed with this legend. Ever since childhood, it's been a favorite of mine. I actually think this interest was listed for the more recent movie with Clive Owen, which I love for some extremely unknown reason. I'm still in love with this legend. I mean seriously, I willingly sat through Excalibur because it's a "good" re-telling of one of the versions of the legend.
nip/tuck
Once upon a time (when I first stumbled onto LJ), I loved this show. Dunno why because one of the seasons made me ill to watch and I've never seen another episode.
wonderfalls
OMG, I LOVED THIS SHOW AND ONLY 4 EPISODES AIRED. And then I saw the DVDs were on sale and my sister bought them for me. I love the show even more, and I don't know why I didn't gush about it before.
Jake/Diane from Jake 2.0. One of the only shows I watched for ship and this was all we got. They got bonus points because the kiss here, Jake had amnesia and when he got his memory back, HE REMEMBERED THE KISS and wanted to talk about it. And said that Diane's beautiful. When they were in the men's bathroom. Sorry, it just happens to me sometimes. A terrible show can have one good thing and I'm hooked and for some reason, they had a good ship here.
A quote from The 'Burbs. I love that movie. Guy thinks his neighbors are satanists that are killing people. It's a comedy.
Clark and Chloe from Smallville. Their friendship/relationship/whatever is 35% of why I still watch that show. The other percentage is Chloe herself.

Date: 2007-04-20 05:06 am (UTC)Martha/Ten is teh awesome. I love her for all the ways she's not Rose. She doesn't replace our girl but she does a good job of making her own niche and I can't fathom why people don't like her.
(Also, erm, MEME ME!)

Date: 2007-04-20 02:34 pm (UTC)I think Martha and Ten are hitting a chemistry that we didn't see with Ten and Rose, IMO. And I'm eating it up!
Let's see...accents, fingersmith, woe of elizabeth weir (because I like the sound of that)

Date: 2007-04-20 06:00 am (UTC)I also like Ten/Martha. I'm not shipping them... yet, but they're not painful to watch like Ten/Rose often were (for me anyway *cringes at the memory of series 2*).

Date: 2007-04-20 03:18 pm (UTC)* Bond Slash: This one came out of two things: The heaps of chemistry between Bond and Le Chiffre on CR and the apparent comment of Daniel Craig wanting a gay Bond escene (citing Doctor Who as an example)
* Erik/The Persian: That one is my Phantom of the Opera OTP. In pretty much all adaptations they miss out the Persian, which was a character who knew the Phantom foryears and was practically his only friend. They had a rather rocky relationship which is done rather fantastically on Susan Kay's Phantom novel.
* Hair Gel of Pure Evil: That's a reference to School Reunion. A friend and I refer to the ep as "Anthony Steward Head and the Hair Gel of Pure Evil".
* Got Milk? - I don't remember the exact origin of this one. But here you have Doakes, which pretty much uses "motherfucker" in every sentence. I don't remember if this was originally something the character/actor said or someone at the Dexter communities or maybe my friend Donna. But I do know that Donna said there should be an icon and I made it, complete with milk moustache.
* The doctor Dances - I just love Eight. He's so full of glee and romance and this icon is just too adorable.
* Booth Rock - That is from one of my favorite Bones eps, with Booth doing a crazy dance before almost being killed by a fridge bomb (my fandoms are on crack). I love it because David Boreanaz is pretty much an expert at Goofy dances.

Date: 2007-04-21 03:07 pm (UTC)Ah, there's where we differ because I haven't had any eye-rolling moments about Martha or thought Martha was really immature.
And I hated when Rose was immature. Which is probably why Boomtown was one of my least favorite episodes from S1.
