Because curiousity is biting me, I would like to know, what is my f-list currently watching? What shows are you crazy about right now?

This is also because I'd like to start talking about other shows on my journal and would like to know if any of y'all would actually be interested in them. Besides the post I'm planning on ER, that's mostly for venting reasons.

Yeah. I want to be interactive with my f-list and I like starting discussions on different shows. It's fun!

Although, if I got my way, I'd be getting back into reading books. I miss being a book geek sometimes.

I've been trying to get back into Alias, but the reruns I have on my TV is coming into S4 and I don't want to re-watch that now.

HEROES! That's right, it's back tomorrow. OMG YAY!

Mostly been diving my time between The Tudors (for the soap opera fun), Dresden Files, The Riches (I only watched the pilot but I wanna see some more because it's Eddie and Minnie), Old Skool Who, Bones, Arrested Development on DVD and possibly some Drive next week.

The sad part: all this is just while I wait for season 2 of Dexter to start.

I was meaning to watch The Tudors. Is it at least good soap opera fun? I've always had an odd fascination with Henry VIII.

How many episodes are in S1 of Dexter? Maybe I could get into that.

I like it. Even if I roll my eyes at some bits. But Jonathan Rhys Meyers is so pretty and there's something about the show that just keeps you watching.

Dexter only has 12 eps in season 1. I confess I only started watching because of my not so obvious Julie Benz crush, but the show is so well written/acted/filmed and why oh why do I have to wait till September for season?!?!

It can be a bit gory for most people, but I think you get to see a similar level of gore on most forensic dramas. The plot does get pretty dark, but it can get very funny as well.

I have trouble watching something as simple as CSI, I get icked and scared so easily. So, I'll sit on whether or not I want to watch Dexter. But hearing such good things about it is encouraging.

Besides 'Lantis and SG1 (just saw Echoes..OMG! Best ep ever! lol), House. Heroes is on tomorrow, yay!! I'm also getting back into Babylon 5 and Firefly/Serenity. Joss Whedon is God. =)

Books! Books are my 2nd obsession, next to tv. Finishing the 6th Harry Potter again in prep for this summer. (Yes, I'm an HP geek lol) =)

I'm pretty excited about HP7 this summer myself, but I don't think I'm gonna reread the 6th book.

God, I remember fandom after that book came out. I was so glad I was on my way out.

Right now? Been dividing my TV fandom time between being on a L&O Criminal Intent kick and Buffy nostalgia, mostly. I spent today, however, alternately playing Final Fantasy XII on the PlayStation 2 and rereading The Hallowed Hunt by Lois McMaster Bujold (which is brilliant, you really should try just about anything by her or Diane Duane (dduane on LJ) because they both rock SO HARD).

Yeah, I don't think I could dive into Heroes as well as DW or SGA or BSG.

Oh yeah, I should get into Life on Mars.

From some of the spoilers I've heard from House(very very vague), you might be getting an accomplice.

I kept forgetting to watch those reruns of Farscape.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Maybe if Primeval goes a couple years...SGA will be hard to cut out if they really lose it in S4. Because I'm hopeless and will continue watching. Maybe. If they really fuck it up, I'll definitely stop.

Oh, BTW, my dad didn't really like Echoes! He thought it was kind of a waste. Although, he was falling asleep because it was one o'clock in the morning. And he kept drooling at the sight of Teyla.

See, I think my dad presents the average viewer, which means he loves the episodes fandom hates and doesn't like the episodes fandom loves. Here's hoping he doesn't like what they do to Carson or Elizabeth(because he likes her, he thought TRW was boring and that she deserved a "better" episode) though. He was oddly quiet when I told him that Carter would be on SGA next season, even though he considers her his TV girlfriend.

Yes, okay, I'm taking your word for Nine/Rose! I could really careless about anything RTD intended, but I'll take everything you said.

OMG I KNOW! I don't know how to predict with my dad. He liked Sateda, obviously, and I think he liked Irresistable (so he's already hopeless). I think he liked The Return Pt. 1. He seems bored with this season and if it continues and he really does represent the average viewer, then viewership will go down and they'll be cancelled. Although, SciFi might be nice and let them air some or all of S4 just because they're already filming.

Why do I feel as if I'll be disappointed if that doesn't happen? ;)

RTD has this attitude that rubs me so the wrong way. He very much acts as if anything and everything he writes and does, will automatically be loved and I just can't like him for that. And even some of the things he's said about the ship annoys me. Mostly the soul mates crap, which might just be me.

Yeah, Irresistable isn't so bad, and Lizzie was cute. You just have to ignore implications, which can be hard.

I'm into character development, maybe others are too.

Maybe my dad's not the norm, or those that were sad that SG1 was cancelled decided to make sure that SGA wasn't as well?

While, yes the use of soul mates made me cringe, when he talked about it, I truly think he was using the wrong words. What he was describing sounded more like "kindred souls", which I'll buy.

I've been hoping the Grey's spinoff is turned down because Addison is one of the best characters on that show. But if it went on, it'd be cool to see him on it.
