My dad's a funny man...

meganlynn09He really is. I love talking to him about SGA because he's such a dork. My dad's the reason I have watched any of it, so if it occasionally eats my brains, I blame him.
1. I told him that Sam Carter was coming to SGA for a bunch of episodes. He was very oddly quiet, even though she's his TV girlfriend.
And then he got mad when I told him Elizabeth would be recurring. Well, not really mad, but he didn't like it and thought it unfair to Torri. He really likes Elizabeth and Torri and think she's a great actress and that the show's probably lucky to have her at all.
It wasn't really funny, but it earned major points with me:
He's always drooling over Teyla and Sam and then he says that Elizabeth's hot, so all's right with the world. Heh.
2. This is the best part. I told him about the possibility of RL being pregnant, and Teyla being revealed as pregnant in S4. As he does everytime I tell him an actress he likes is having a kid, he said "Whore." It's not him being mean, and I hope it doesn't sound offensive he's truly saying it as a joke.
So I was joking around about who the father of Teyla's baby could be.
He looked at me and said "Torri Higginson". I think he thought I was talking about Rachel, I don't know, but it cracked me up to high heaven.
So yeah, his humor is why I watch SGA with him, because as much as I want to bang my head against the wall with the show, he makes it better and makes me laugh about it all.
And yes, I will find every excuse to use this icon.
