OMFG *FLAILS* SO FUCKING AWESOME!
That has to be one of the best episodes ever of the season. And it's not even canon! Heh.
I'm kicking myself right now, because I forgot about the painting that Sylar did last episode, even though I thought at the time that it was of himself in the White House.
I knew right away that it was Sylar as Nathan as soon as he got Claire, it was the mention of the Bitch that caught me.
One little thing, about DL, did he die in the explosion? If so, how did Sylar get his power? If not, then I get it. Same with Nathan, I suppose?
I'm curious as to how Nikki and Peter came to be. It was interesting to see that Jessica was gone (and apparently Nikki's power?). I figured that for Nikki to be with anyone else, that Micah or DL would have to have died (or both in this case). So, why Peter? Latch onto the first caring person you come across? I'm not trying to be mean, but obviously Nikki has become quite needy and/or attached to Peter. They care about each other, but what brought them together?
My goodness, I've never been into Milo's look that much, I don't know why, but hot damn. Was it the look or the scar? He was just...whoa. *fans self* He had quite a strength on his abilities, didn't he? Did...he really learn to control it all on his own? Please, through me a bone. Claude disappeared so suddenly, I'm still waiting for a bit of closure.
I...didn't really care about Claire's little life that she grew. Was she getting married (at 20?!) to have a new life or did she really love that guy? And is she ever going to GET OVER THE FACT THAT HER DAD (Mr. Bennet) LOVES HER AND TRIES TO PROTECT HER WITH ALL HIS POWER? Sorry, it's just getting old to see him go out of his way to protect her and she rags on him. I get that she's a teenager that wants a normal life, but get the fuck over it.
I like Claire, I do, I understand that this is tough and unfortunate, but fuck me, you have 50 people trying to make sure you're okay and you get pissy about it? It's really my only complaint about her as I hated to see the way she had to go. I kinda, sort of yelled at the TV when it happened.
This episode was fantastic, really. Edge of my seat, didn't really expect a lot of the twists (thank God I don't read spoilers) and I actually had one moment where I literally gasped out loud.
It was at the end when Matt (WTF HAPPENED TO HIM?) shot Future!Hiro after he told our Hiro that he'd show him how to get back. I don't know why, but I literally had my breath taken away.
So, Hiro becomes obsessed with stopping the bomb in the future just so he can get Ando back? Wow, talk about a love story. Heh, no, I love them and it makes me sad that Hiro is having to go through all of this. It's wonderful to see their friendship.
One predictable moment: When Mohinder injected the Haitian. Oh, two predictable moments: When Peter told Ando that he died. Come on Pete!
And one little tiny thing I didn't like: Having to wait until the very end of the episode to figure out everything that happened. But that's just me! My own problem.
See, this is why "Before I Sleep" from Stargate: Atlantis is one of my favorite episodes. I love the ideas and possibilities of alternate realities, they're fascinating and it's why I was looking forward to this episode so much.
But I'm very much looking forward to next week and can't wait to see how the last three episode play out! YAY!
I'm so glad I can love this show with or without CE. I love the man to death, but I'm so beyond happy that I love the show like I do.

Date: 2007-05-01 03:28 am (UTC)I knew when he almost made out with Mohinder. Confirmed when he was being sugary sweet to Claire. There was something in Pasdar's mannerism that felt so ZQ to me. Bravo!
Whenever Peter uses his invisibility, I think of CE and Claude. Peter does too. *loves*

Me too! *sighs* I miss him.

Date: 2007-05-01 05:14 am (UTC)And Peter had Micah's skills...did both Sylar and Peter get the skills of the others at the same time?

Date: 2007-05-01 05:47 am (UTC)My dad asked the same thing, and I was thinking that since Matt seems to have to focus on the person to hear their thoughts, maybe Matt didn't, since SylarNathan was president?
And Peter had Micah's skills...did both Sylar and Peter get the skills of the others at the same time?
I dunno. Sylar has to kill someone to get their power, and from what we've learned about Peter all he has to do is be around them. So, maybe he meets Micah very very soon? (And because I'm not recalling it, what did Peter do that meant he could use Micah's skills?)
