meganlynn09Would anyone be willing to just fucking smack me so I can remember that I shouldn't visit places I know are bad for me?
I don't like to have my love for something tarnished by reading someone saying how stupid it is or how much they don't like it.
REMIND ME PEOPLE. I'm like a 5-year-old in a candy store when it comes to the Doctor Who fandom, NO RESTRAINT! I remember it took my mom ages to get me to put my hands in my back pocket everytime we walked into a candy store. Or a store with lots of breakables.
*sigh* Maybe I should ignore fandom for a week or something and just rewatch all of S1, get my love going really strong. Although, I've been meaning to do that forever.
HAHAHAHA, like I'll ignore anything on LJ.

fixthisicon. You have to join to see the posts(simple and easy, you have to join comms to participate usually anyway), and it's an icontest.
But it's so cool because they give you the PSD file of a so-called "ugly" icon and you fix it up! But you can only use the layers that are already in the PSD file. You can change the colors if there are color layers and you can make adjustments to adjustment layers and if there is text, you can make it say whatever you like BUT you can't add anything, unless otherwise noted. It's really interesting and I'm curious to see if newer iconmakers find this helpful in any way.
(For those that aren't sure, a PSD file is the icon with all the layers you used to make it before it's flatten or whatever - if that makes any sense)
