Anyway, my f-list people in Florida now, are y'all doing okay? Apparently, we're having smoke heavy in the area due to some winds and the wild fires in North FL and southern Georgia, plus the fact that some map I saw on the news showed wild fires all over the state.
We got some smoke in the house, so my throat's all scratchy, but it's fine for now. They say the smoke might not lift from my county though until tomorrow evening.
According to my area's newspaper online, what's happening is called: inversion, a condition where temperatures closer to the surface are cooler than temperatures in air above, the smoke won't budge until winds pick up later today. Another inversion about 3,000 feet up will keep the sky looking hazy through the day
I really don't know, all I know is that my place is surrounded my smoke and that the smell isn't so pleasant and I can't step outside if I want to breathe properly.
I just feel bad for the people who are experiencing the fires. So, I hope those on my f-list in FL are okay. Stay indoors if you have breathing problems! That's what they say on the news.
