meganlynn09 | Two things...that have nothing in common...

1. I think my dad's excited about Torchwood. Which is weird, yes. One, whenever I even mention BBC America, he rolls his eyes. Two, he's not in to Doctor Who, and that's because he hasn't exactly caught the best bits (this being he saw the very end of "Doomsday", which is so not his cup of tea).

But...it has aliens, so he saw a commercial for it (and assuming he's seen a couple) and was like "Oh, here it is!"

I don't know what to tell him though. I don't particularly feel the urge to watch the series over again, but I can't tell my dad that I've seen it already. *sighs*

2. I'm a little heartbroken about Jenna Fischer (from The Office) and her husband separating. Mostly because in pretty much all her interviews, she seemed to appreciate him so much, always called him her "Jim" (which could be confusing to non-Office viewers, as her husband's named James").

It just makes me feel for her, hurting her back in May and now this. At least she has things to look forward to, new season of The Office, her Emmy nomination, her two movies.
