OH, thank y'all so much for the birthday wishes in my post the other day. I might just be going through them to reply to each, but I didn't expect so many and it made my night.

I like it!

I wanted a new Weir/Nine icon because I'm missing my Doctor a bit and because...Elizabeth Weir. Seriously. Oh Lizzie.

Ahem.


Anyway...I watched Chuck and Heroes last night. I very much enjoyed Chuck whereas, I still haven't finished the pilot of that. So, I'm keeping it.



Pretty good!

Hiro's little plot was too predictable until Kensai healed himself. Didn't know that would be his ability. Very awesome.

Claire...cut off her toe. WHY MUST YOU HURT ME? God, but it was cool that it grew back. I'm getting really interested in the genetics of the people with abilities and it looks like they're diving into that this year, which is cool.

The Haitian is back. That was fun.

Peter is boring me.

COME BACK CLAUDE. Make Peter's storyline interesting again. Or join up with Bennet. YES, DO THAT.

I thought the twins were interesting last week and then...this week happened and I'm over them.

And I'm still having a giggle over Matt and Mohinder being daddies for Molly.

So, now I'm confused. I thought last week Nathan was keeping a low profile and then he turned up to get his mother. What the hell is going on there?

His beard is freaking me out though. He's no Chris Eccleston, he needs to shave it off, please.



Also, why must people try and steal my Office squee? What the fuck about The Office screams Friends?

I understand the hesitancy, but the people that are all "OMG ANOTHER ROSS/RACHEL", fuck off. You should know the writers better than that. I watched S3 too, and I still have trust in them. Not completely because Karen's storyline was fucked in "Fun Run". I'm really hoping they're doing something with that. Because as much as I love Jim/Pam, Jim still screwed over Karen, and there should be consequences. But a spoiler I've heard makes me think we will see some.

But I'm so ridiculously happy over this show. Someone slap me.

Kensai healing was pretty cool.

I got very happy when the Haitian came back and when he went to Copy Kingdom.

Claude HAS to come back. I'm a bit biased, but those episodes with him in it were some of the best.

I was amused by the Haitian showing up at Copy Kingdom (or whatever it is). He was so like, "hahaha, you work at this place?!" inside.

And yeah, I feel like the Kensei thing is just going to be really predictable. I mean, of course Hiro was going to save the day, blah blah blah. Kensei getting, um, shot and healing himself I did not predict though. That was cool. I hope it's more like that.

Peter is so boring. I dunno, he just seems silly to me now. Everything's soooooo melodramatic. Like that one episode last season with his chopped-off bangs dramatically falling to the floor, hahaha. He should have just taken THE BOX with his powers.

Matt/Mohinder is really amusing me. I never expected that to happen, haha. I love how Mohinder looked over at Matt while looking in on Molly. (OMG the 'M's! M&M as my roommate calls Matt/Mohinder.) I expected him to kiss him on the head or something.

And yes, more Claude plz. He was way more interesting than anyone. He actually seemed like he had a backstory, he had a whole life of living these powers.

It thought that they glossed over the Karen/Jim stuff because Rashida is doing another show.

Yes, but the thing is, her show is a mid-season replacement, so they could have actually wrapped that up.

Yeah, The Office and Friends don't even touch each other. They're both funny, but that's pretty much where it ends.

Yeah, I see how some might get there, but truthfully? I never thought of Ross/Rachel when I thought of Pam/Jim!

I'm afraid I am find the Kensei stuff really tedious. Partially, I never understood the squee over David Anders in Alias, and he's even less impressive to me here. Masi Oka, OTOH, is becoming a bit more subtle, and the Japanese beauty queen is a better actress than I was expecting.

Was I the only one who wanted to slap Claire silly when she was talking about STUFF at Copy Kingdom? Srsly, chica, get a grip! At least wait until he gets home. I can't decide whether they're trying to paint her as a pain-in-the-ass teenager or not - I hope so. That whole "If you buy me another puppy car, I promise I'll take care of it this time." Did she actually think that was going to work? And if it does, I lose all respect for Bennet.

And you don't even want to know what I thought was going to happen to her toe...

Claude is so connected to everything - he's the lynchpin of both the older and younger generations, the Petrellis and the Bennets. He's right in the middle, and he's also the most moral voice in the wilderness, at least when he's not terrified. For good reason. Speaking of the Haitian, did you see that Jimmy Jean-Louis interview where he was gushing all over CE? It was so funny, they asked him who he enjoyed working with, and he went on and on about how they were so lucky to have him, etc., etc. And then they asked him, "But you mostly work with Jack Coleman, don't you?" and he said, "Oh, yeah. Jack. Mostly with Jack." It was lacking a bit of tact, but after the DW people getting so bitchy and dismissive about CE, it was nice to see the appreciation.

Oh, I quite enjoy David Anders. I think he's fun here. But I'm not really enjoying the storyline they have going. It seems completely pointless.
