So.....why do I love shows and ships that are NEVER GONNA LOVE ME BACK?
Seriously? I used to watch shows (too many years ago) that I would follow, and I would, for the most part, enjoy the ships the shows chose to go with.
Then, I got this mind where I could see chemistry and feel like Oh, that's such a good couple! And then the shows fucked me.
I'm not making a big deal of it, in the grand scheme of things, it's a small matter that isn't relevant, it's just something that would make me happy.
And I'm certainly not suggesting that shows should start pandering to the audience or not tell the story they want to tell.
I'd just like to find a show where I love ALL the parts of the story the writers want to tell. IS THAT SO HARD?
*sigh* I'm really laughing while I'm writing this because it's ridiculous. And while I wish I didn't, I have been getting into shows by investing in couples/ships. And I know I shouldn't. Because it means they're doomed. FOR REALS.
*laughs* I feel weird, because I feel like I'm making a bigger deal out of this than I really need to because it doesn't matter and yet, I just want a show where THEY DON'T MESS UP MY COUPLE.
I'm gonna keep a close eye on The Office, 'cause so far, they're the only one doing okay by me. They're not perfect, but nearly.

Date: 2008-03-24 03:54 am (UTC)If I did that I'd be stuck with only watching...one show! hehe Maybe I just need to not love pairings.
Oh, WhoTF am I kidding?! I can't do that!

LOL. Now, that would be a problem! Maybe you just need to love MORE pairings. So, you'll always find your fix of shipping? Works for me quite well.
