And lastly...
Mar. 27th, 2008 09:01 pmI am caught up on Torchwood! YAY :D
Just so there's no misunderstanding...Tosh is the fave ;)
So, I like the angst-y ships, don't I? Because with those fucked-up relationships, e.g. Tosh/Owen, I'm really not surprised I'm still enjoying it anymore.
Even if seeing Tosh like that makes me scream at times. But I really, really loved that moment in "A Day in the Death" where Owen makes his "goodbyes" and says I'm sorry to Tosh. THE SEASON IS SHOWING CONTINUITY. And the end when Owen admits he's scared. It's a given, but it's nice that he's talking to Tosh about it.
Anyway...it wasn't my best idea to watch "From Out of the Rain" alone, in a dark room, at 12:30 in the morning. But really it was sort of...unnecessarily tragic? Everyone died except that little boy, and even that sucked 'cause the rest of his family died.
Hey, why was Tosh hearing the music when it didn't seem like Owen and Gwen (and Ianto? I don't remember if it was clear if he could hear it) could?
And you know, while "Adrift" wasn't bad, I would have really liked it if Tosh continued working with Gwen. It was sweet that Ianto helped like he did, but it felt really weird that Tosh just walked away.
And oh man, "Fragments". Oh good lord. That hurt. Poor poor Tosh, just wanna hug the poor girl. And Owen!
God, when did Chris Chibnall start churning out good episodes?
But, why does Jack seem to be ridiculously mysterious? It's bugging the fuck out of me that everything has to be a secret with him.
Can I just say, that between Rhys and Gwen, I never expected either of them to want kids? Rhys just doesn't seem the paternal type (sorry) and Gwen had that point about Torchwood, especially since she doesn't have a desire to leave that anytime soon.
I really don't want to see the finale. Those spoilers out there...let's just say that unlike Doctor Who, I don't think I'll be having any trouble saying goodbye to Torchwood.
