I'm not disappointed with receiving the silver, it's been said that even if we did perfect, if China did perfect as well, they'd get the gold.

I'm just disappointed for the apparent nerves that showed up. But I feel horrible for Alicia Sacramone. I wanted to cry with her, or at least seeing how much she wanted to cry.

So, I'm happy China got gold and we got silver.

Really, I posted because I wanted to link to this post at olympicgames08 because it gives an incite into the scoring from someone who definitely knows what they're talking about.

Fantastic post, check it out if you've got a couple minutes, it's not short. It's very refreshing to see because while I understand and agree with the criticisms about the gymnastics scoring, it's good to see acknowledgment that they weren't completely off base.

And what a wonderful night of swimming, again, yes? :D

It's even worse when not only does she blame herself, parts of media probably are too.
