Not about the Olympics - AGAIN!
Aug. 18th, 2008 03:14 pmNo, this time it's about Tropical Storm Fay who is moving it's way up my state.
It's not even categorized as a hurricane yet, so I'm not completely worried about where we live, but still, we are practically on a river so the chance of flooding is there.
My county has a hurricane warning and we're definitely gonna get hit, so I'm a little worried about damage. But we survived stronger (and actual) hurricanes when I lived on a island. So, as long as I don't watch the news constantly, they'll be no panicking!
We're only getting strong winds right now with some sprinkle. So I'm able to amuse myself with how funny it is that the TS is named Fay.
