ALRIGHT, SO I FINISHED. Really really liked it you guys, pretty much loved it :D

- We don't actually know who Morgana's mother is, do we? It was most noticeable when her and Uther visited her father's grave.

- I still can't like Uther, sorry. His sorrow over his son was heartbreaking, but I JUST CAN'T LIKE HIM, I'm sorry! I know how unthinkable it should be to dislike ASH in any way.

- I'm really really glad Gaius isn't dead yet. I'd say it's not his time. Not really sure how I feel about Nimueh being killed. I was momentarily surprised. Hmm.

- Why was everyone (except Gwen, of course), and especially Merlin, so dismissive of Morgana in the finale? That was really odd. She's fucking losing it in front of them and they're like "LATER". It was annoying and frustrating because we don't know why it's driving her crazy now. Although, Merlin "rejecting" her to make sure Arthur is being taken care of seems like good foreshadowing to me.

- And OH Merlin, I really love him. Even at times, like now, when I'm thinking of moments where I scratched my head, he's so awesome. And sweet. He tries so hard.

- Why was every. single. episode something like "DO THIS OR ARTHUR (or the occasional other person) DIES", why? It's like, the fuck? Why is Camelot so murderous?

- Morgana hating Uther, somewhat I suppose, isn't that surprising, but it felt sort of odd for her to plot to kill him so fast. But I really did love the fact that because he admitted to regretting some decisions and specifically Gwen's father was what changed Morgana's determination. It always does good to see a spark of humanity in people.

- I still hate the changed history of Uther/Igraine/Morgana's father.

- Was it really surprising how crazy the dragon was? I thought he'd made comments before, or hints, about magic returning to Camelot and the chance to be free. I guess the fact that it seems it's ALL ABOUT HIM is a little new to Merlin, but the reveal wasn't that surprising to me.

- I LOVE Arthur's love for his people.

- OH GWEN. I feel so bad for her. When is she so gonna run away? No, for real, of course they'd never do it because they've established that she wants to be around for when Arthur's king, but it would be so good if they don't forget that she's the servant to her father's "killer"'s ward.

- Continuing with her, I do love what they're doing with her. Because most of the stories I know or have seen, she's not been sympathetic (don't read Howard Pyle's version, she's a royal bitch in that one). But the speech she gave to the unconscious Arthur was pure Guinevere. She loved her king.

With the way they have this set, if they do even loosely follow any canon, Gwen and Arthur will most likely marry eventually, but it'll have to be for love. There'll be no arranged marriage here. Where Lancelot may fit in, I don't know. Maybe they were just throwing us a bone. I sort of hope not because I loved (morbidly, yes) the tragedy of Arthur losing the two he loved most to each other.

I don't know! All I know is that as long as Gwen doesn't end the show in a fucking nunnery, I'm fine.

- The scene with Arthur teasing Gwen about her words left no doubt I will ship them A LOT when the time comes. Maybe I already do a tiny bit ;)

- Also still annoyed that Mordred isn't Arthur's son.

- I still find Merlin/Gwen really sweet. His "goodbye" words to her especially. I like how he adores her, in whatever way that may mean. Morgana/Gwen is quite nice too.

But really? I just love seeing affection between characters regardless of sex.

- Random, random, random.

- ICONS NEXT? I DO BELIEVE SO *points to icon*. :D

OH, I've wanted to use my Martha mood theme, but not when I had a Martha header, so now I have something (a new show) that I can make a header from and use my mood theme!

I'm such a fucking dork.

(one thing that has nothing to do with anything...I can never get to the comment button when I'm on your journal. Is it my page or something? =/ )

YES TO EVERYTHING. Except the Uther!dislike. I think it's because I'm extremely shallow & just like to watch ASH. xD

HOMGYAYICONS! Your icons always rule, so I'm excited for Merlin ones. =D

I've never seen much Arthur/Gwen until, I dunno, sometime towards the end when I immediately started shipping them HARDCORE.

Pretty much, as long as you don't think too hard about how they're really mucking about with the legend, it's just a fun show, yeah?

(It might be your computer, as when I go on my parents', I can't find it either. I've been wanting to change it to the default comment page, so I think I will.)

I'm so trying not to not like Uther! It's just...not working well.

Heh *blushes* Thanks, I think I'll have fun making icons.

lol, I'm gonna have a hard time with this show, just like Robin Hood, where I feel obligated to ship the "canon". Arthur/Gwen is hard to ignore because it was adorable when Arthur was teasing her. I love cute ships.

OH it's totally fun! Which is why I've been trying to work my brain into overdrive trying to stop comparing it to what I think I know! I can't wait till it's back!

So far, they're making is seem impossible for Morgana and Arthur to be related, which I'm totally okay with.

I do wonder how long they'll let it go. I hate doing it, but most stories have Arthur pretty young when he becomes king so....Uther could die in the next series? Although, like you said, if there's something to delay him being king for a short while, that's okay :)

Maybe because Morgana was on the side the whole episode was what bothered me, I wanted to know or see if there was more going on in her nightmares.

Did you see the look Gwen gave Uther when he was going out of Arthur's chambers.

I did! It's what made what she said about/to Arthur all the more better :D

I really really like that they're making it a real love story. And that they're doing it this way. Technically, there's no real need for Lancelot to come back (I'm doing it again, I don't care: early stories don't even have Lancelot). He could come back and they could do something with him. Gah, I don't know.

They have that much potential. Right now I'm like OMG GIVE ME MORE OF THEM THEY ARE ADORABLE. As soon as Gwen told him to stfu and eat his food, I fell for them.

Yes, pretty much :D I do love that there first major interaction is her telling him off. hehe
