meganlynn09OMG YAY, I got my Firefly DVDs today. *bounces around* So happy.
Also, I've totally not commented on the new Doctor announcement, have I? heh But then I thought, what's there to say? YAY, NO MORE TEN? I already had that moment. I don't know who "the new guy" is (should I censor his name? Is it being kept a surprise for some of you?), so I have to wait to really say anything. Can't properly judge someone as the Doctor until...they are the Doctor.
Oh fuck. That's a whole year from now, isn't it? Whew, as if I wasn't already happy to be out of that fandom!
I had myself completely convinced that it was going to be Paterson Joseph. So there was a slight disappointment it wasn't him. But I actually kinda like that it's an actor I don't know because there's no role to...already "judge" him. A nice clean slate like Chris Eccleston was for me.
And...why is it my first reaction to a new show/fandom/whatever is TO GATHER ICONS. I'm gonna spend the next week collecting Merlin icons.
