School, Doctor Who, Tomorrow

meganlynn09Okay, so the end of April saw the end of my first year of college, at my university in Fort Myers (Florida). My fall semester wasn't so hard, but the spring semester was trying to murder me. Everyday was an early morning class, walking to and from campus, dealing with terrible roommates, and classes that were a lot more work than my first semester.
Apparently I worked harder with all the work because I kept getting pretty good grades, some expected, most not. So here came finals week, the day before the week (Sunday) started I'm informed my beloved grandfather passed away. Parents and myself want me home ASAP. So, I come home the next day and then come back that Wednesday to clean out my dorm and take one last final.
There was a class, biology, that I did not expect to pass, and I still don't know because of a pesky hold on my account (too idiotic to explain). But today I received a letter from my school.
I MADE THE PRESIDENTS' LIST!!!! Which means I got a fucking perfect 4.0 grade point average. I'm so beyond excited, and needed something like this so much after the month of May (wherein I was told my cousin died) that I am on Cloud Nine. Damn, this is awesome.
On a completely different note, how freakin' awesome was Doctor Who Saturday night? That was an awesome piece of TV right there. And here in the US, we Americans will be treated to the series one finale and will be forced to say goodbye to Doctor #9.
Following that line of thought, I just watched my first arc of the old series. And that would be the first arc of the Fifth Doctor, "Castravalva". He's cute and I think I'm gonna like him. And I think I'm liking Tegan and Nyssa. Right now I'm in the middle of "Earthshock". I'm not really liking Adric. After all the people hating on him, I really am seeing where they came from. But I would like to see more of him, just to be a more proper judge, of course.
So, advice. For those with similar taste, since I love Nine so much and I'm pretty much really liking Ten, besides the Fifth Doctor, what other Doctor should I try? Any suggestions for episodes?
And taking another turn, I have a load of icons to post tomorrow. They will most likely be Battlestar Galactica bases. From the miniseries, which is the best place to cap icons. It was filmed so beautifully.
