meganlynn09I keep disappearing on your guys, even if I occasionally comment on your posts, I didn't mean to just drop off.
And I owe birthday wishes to a lot of people I think, and I'm just really sorry to have been a lousy LJ friend. :(
So I tried to think of something that might help? I'm borrowing a meme that everyone and their grandmother is doing to hopefully get me posting everyday or so, and it brings me back to my roots re: this journal. Television.
Yes, I'm stealing that 30 days of TV meme, or whatever it's called.
Day 1: A Show That Never Should Have Been Cancelled
(BTW, I know the first one, but can anyone give me a list of the 30 days? It's be greatly appreciated)
I think I'm gonna just pick one (and a half) - and it's one that I'm still bitter over.
Wonderfalls. I remember loving it so so much, and they only aired 4 episodes. After, like, 2 of them they switched nights it was on without warning and clearly lost anyone that might have been interested. But then I got the DVDs and got all 13(?) episodes and loved them. They had some...interesting ideas for S2, to say the least, and I would have liked to see where they would have taken the show.
And because of that, I will always be a bitter bitch towards FOX.
You know what didn't help my feelings towards the network? When they canceled Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. They let it end like that and I was pissed. My dad and I adored that show and it was sad to see it have to end, again, especially on a cliffhanger.

Date: 2010-07-10 03:33 am (UTC)I just...I'm...it's still a little raw. I may not have been babbling about it, but I loved it. So much. I remember my dad and I had like 8 episodes recorded on the DVR (of the 2nd season) and one Saturday we watched all of them.
And it was awesome.
