Hurricane Wilma

meganlynn09My goodness, this wasn't a good thing. I live in Fort Myers, attend school there, so when the hurricane was headed towards us, I came home as soon as classes were cancelled. Classes were cancelled starting 20th, and as of today they are cancelled till the 26th. It's nice being home, but so many days of classes cancelled means we have to make it up, extra time in school.
Unfortunately, I can't stop thinking about the damage elsewhere. I'm thinking about the friend I have from Key West and if he went home. My roommate and my other friend from Fort Lauderdale, if they are okay. Where my other roommate went and if she is okay. The damage isn't really as bad as other hurricanes, but it's still devastating no matter what. Help is going to be needed, because yet again Florida had to be hit with a hurricane.
I have faith that we'll all pull through this mess and hope that the damage can be repaired.
