Okay, I don't know who to give credit to, so tell me if you do, but I had to share this with you wonderful people that read this journal.

I have found two videos on YouTube featuring Christopher Eccleston.

There's this one.

But this one is the best, it's absolutely beautiful and perfect.  So go watch it!

Also, should this be friends-locked?

Can I post this to [profile] nine_love?  It has some clips from Doctor Who in both, so somebody let me know, ok?

I have a greater love for the man because he was forced to kiss Jordana Brewster.  :-)

Absolutely :) Just Christopher Eccleston, and no DW, would also be okay by me. The other Doctor comms (other than Ten being split up with Tennant love because of the popularity) seem to have info keeping up with the actors, as well as the show, so why not *g*

Ha ha ha. Yeah, she's a bit of a drip. The girl who played the character as a younger child was much better - but 12, so unfortunately out of bounds...

I remember a review of this movie (I think it was Roger Ebert) which said, "Well, the cast is beautiful."

What movie is it? I may just have to avoid that one.

But boy did he look delicious in those other movies, even with the funny hair (IMO). I can't wait to see some of them.

The Invisible Circus. Jordana Brewster plays the daughter of Blythe Danner and Patrick Bergin and sister of Cameron Diaz (?!?!?!?!). CE plays Christopher/"Wolf" who's Diaz's boyfriend.

And, um, yeah. The cast is beautiful.

The scenery is nice.

ummm....

::chuckle::

Hey, if you're bored one weekend, it's a pretty way to while away the time - it wants to be Deep and Meaningfulâ„¢, but it's mostly just dreamy pretty people in pretty surroundings with pretty light.

But if you want to laugh at his hair, the long wig is a great opportunity.

I hate laughing at his hair because he's so awesome, but I just can't help it, especially after seeing that video that included quite a bit of his work.

He looks so different with the short short hair and beard, then with floppy hair (and the mustache in one of them I saw!). He doesn't work the mustache as well as he could.

And remember how I kept saying how sexy and hot I found him on Doctor Who? Well, you and I. Well, I have found that it's nothing compared to some of his other work, is it as good IN context as it is out of context?

To be fair, I think that's from Hillsborough, and he was playing a real, living man who was much older than him. But yeah, the moustache is not optimal. That said, he can work the stubble-to-short beard range like mad ;-). I think my favourite is probably the shorn hair/short beard combo - like the icon.

Well, I have found that it's nothing compared to some of his other work, is it as good IN context as it is out of context?

Some of it is very good indeed. For sheer, out-and-out sexiness, Elizabeth, Othello, and The Revengers Tragedy would probably be my top 3... They're all about power as well as the look. Although Strumpet has him screaming poetry shirtless on Top of the Pops, and that has a loopy kind of down-and-dirty appeal!

Well, your icon is love. I think that's why I love the CE icons I got, because the that combo is to die for. He has those beautiful cheekbones and it really brings out his eyes, maybe it's just me, but the longer hair really takes away from the eyes and it's just, it's the eyes man!

I must learn more about this The Revengers Tragedy. See, I need to stop saying it, and just do it!

Revengers Tragedy should be a win/win for you. It's Thomas Middleton (an apprentice of Shakespeare) and the shaved head look. Plus Eddie Izzard, who's quite entertaining. It's...different! Similar to Julie Taymor's Titus, with a punk aesthetic and a shoestring budget. But then, I really like weird films...so I'm told.
