Hahaha, Tropical Storm Chris could be threatening towards the Gulf Coast.  What's new?

I just feel extremely dorky that I giggle that the name of the storm is Chris.

Um...yes.

P.S.
Are there any episodes of Doctor Who that anyone on my flist needs?  I'm going to try and upload any episode, but I'd prefer to upload one that somebody needs.  Can be zipped, rar(I think, haven't tried that one) or avi.  Thanks!  Any episode of series one or two, except for "World War III".

The burning question is does "Chris" count as a girl's name or a boy's name in the alternation? :-) Or have they decided to interpolate androgynous names in every third slot? Does that mean Hurricane Gale is next, and is that redundant?

I believe it counts as a boy's name, which just makes it more amusing to me. I guess it's not a mystery as to where my mind usually is. ;)

Well, it would! I have to say, I tend to think of "Chris" as male by default. But being from Texas, I also assume that Tracy and Lynn are boys. And a Tracy Lynn would definitely be a boy!

I can't imagine what you're talking about ;-)

Ha! Lynn is my middle name!

My mind has been predominantly on a certain actor. He's distracting. Especially when I can watch "Bad Wolf" without even wanting to, just for him, and to cap the episode. It's a hell of an episode that hits harder each time.

My default is that Lynn = male, Lynne = female, but obviously there are all sorts of variations! No one in my family has a name that's spelled "normally".

It's a hell of an episode that hits harder each time.

I love the way it unpeels like an onion. It seems like a silly spoof of reality shows - although the Big Brother one is particularly entertaining, and I liked Lynda with a Y - she and the Doctor were cute together, although I don't think he quite realized how flirty he was being. (Plus, I love Rose's jealous face in PotW.) But the storyline with the controller is really moving.

Every once in a while, I just have to step back and think, "Wow, S1 was extraordinary stuff. There's just nothing in the best of the S2 episodes to touch it."

I liked Lynda too, and I never really paid attention, until today, to how flirty the Doctor is, especially right after they get out of the house and she mentions traveling with him. I was laughing, because I agree with you, I really don't think he realized that.

But I never liked their goodbye in TPotW. When he leans in, almost as if to kiss her, it was weird, awkward and almost seemed really forced. I just make myself watch Rose's reaction during the whole thing, because it's great.

It's funny that I never thought of the "Oncoming Storm"! Thank you for that.

What's new is that I am no longer on the Gulf Coast to be targeted by the storm. ;)

Yes, "The End of the World" will be my first, any preference to where you download it from (places like FileFront or Up-File)?

Having lived in Florida my whole life, I'm used to the threats from hurricanes and tropical storms.
