I think you can safely say I'll be using many of these... But especially 33, because I really did need a new "kiss" icon. I love 31 and 34, too, but they make me cry!

I'm glad you like, even if they make you cry. I'm partial to 34 because I love how she just sort of nods her head when the Doctor says he was fantastic as well. Although that icon became about Rose instead, didn't it?

Re: 34, I love how that whole scene becomes for Rose, about Rose, even as the Doctor is telling her goodbye - I think that's one of the reasons the CiN blurb works so well, as it concentrates on her reactions. She's the one selling it. DT probably has his best moment as Ten right there when he offers to turn back, and she jumps on it, and he kind of says, "Oh." oops... I loved him then.

The flash between the "Never doubted him...never will" wasn't how I expected it to be. But I suppose it works!

DT probably has his best moment as Ten right there when he offers to turn back, and she jumps on it, and he kind of says, "Oh." oops... I loved him then.

I kind of loved him there myself. He's so used to regeneration, it's like nothing's changed and he's so busy checking himself out, I really don't think he expected Rose to be so unwilling to except the change when she saw it first hand. It was really great, I loved it.

Yup. Speaking of icons, did you get that other thing fixed today?

CiN special - it's a shame most Americans will never get to see it, easily. It was really important to see that exchange, IMO, because of the intensity of the relationship between Nine and Rose. Even with those 8 minutes, I think they needed to deal with it more (you can't have emotional realism on the one hand and then say, "Oh, it's not in our style" on the other), but without it, it's really difficult.

Am still slightly bummed to find out that they had intended it to be better...

Yeah, I've seen it, but not since it originally aired. I've been trying to get all the Nine & Ten eps on tape off the tele, cos it's nicer watching them on the TV than on the computer. I'm having a Doctor Who binge tomorrow with a friend and wanted to watch it. Silly wrong tv listings
