I was re-watching Doctor Who, "The Empty Child" today, and I was struck by inspiration. It's from one of my favorite scenes.
I don't know if anybody would like it, but I had to share the love. Seriously one of my favorite episodes.
If you by chance do like it, you may snag it, credit me. Caps by me as well.
Just thinking about that scene makes me giggle. Enjoy! God, I'm so bored.

He's so ineffectually threatening to Nancy, she just giggles at his offense and I could tweak her little rosey cheeks.
There's another scene that tickles me as well; when the Doctor is peeking over the wall watching the family go into the bomb shelter, he's just such a big doofy kid spying on them and grinning at their bickering. I loved it.

Oh it's great! It's like he doesn't do domestic, but he has no problem watching this family bicker and hide. He's so amused by humans.

Date: 2006-08-24 04:02 pm (UTC)The first time I noticed this weird thing he does with girls was in the miniseries Hearts and Minds; he played a young trainee teacher, and one of his students was this shy Muslim girl, Sahira, whom he tried to nurture despite her overbearing father and a system that kept telling him to leave her alone. But you never once got a sense that there was anything inappropriate his attentions, which was kind of amazing.
And in addition to Rose and Nancy, there was Strumpet. Despite the fact that they were physically very intimate in terms of personal boundaries and nudity, and apparently slept in the same bed by the time they move to London, I was almost shocked by the kiss at the end of the movie, because their relationship seemed so innocent. That said, that final scene was exhilarating, and his eyes were very, very blue.
I feel like I'm missing examples...
