Nice. A lot of times, when I get into a show, I get into fandom. I'm trying to think of a show that I watch currently that I'm not in the fandom of. I think Veronica Mars. Of all the shows I watch mostly, that's it!
Oh Farscape, how I love thee. I just lied in a comment I made, I was saying that I couldn't thing but of one show that I watch/watched that I haven't been a part of fandom, and that now extends to Veronica Mars and Farscape.
DW is the only one on there that I watch/participate in fandom (very judiciously). I watch BSG, Alias (though out of a sense of duty in S2), and VM (tho' I'm ready to drop it, and I dropped House after S1). And my other two fandoms don't make the list! Though I also was a big X-Files fan, just never into the fandom.
I love Veronica and her Dad, and a couple of other "minor" characters, but Duncan and Logan... If we're rid of them, as promised, and they follow through with the stories this year, then things will be looking up! And, oh, believe me, I wouldn't have expected you to have my other two fandoms, they're quite "niche"! (S1/2 Due South and Numb3rs - actually a great crossover potential with VM, if only because of the possible petite pairing ;-) )
I love Veronica and her dad, I love their relationship. But wait, they're getting rid of Logan?! I um...sort of really like his character. I don't actually read spoilers for VM, I like to be surprised when it comes to that show, but what's up that Logan might be gone?
I could really care less about Duncan.
Numb3rs - actually a great crossover potential with VM, if only because of the possible petite pairing ;-)
Heh, Kristin Bell is quite tiny. I was surprised when I saw recent pictures from some event, and she was a midget next to some of the guys there. That'd be a cute pairing.
Logan: lots of people really love him. I just...well, I find him repellent in every possible way, and yet boring. It's an interesting dichotomy! :-)
That'd be a cute pairing.
I think it would also bring out sides of the actors that we don't currently get to see much of on their shows - a little more depth and drama out of Kristen Bell, and some of the flirty comedy that Krumholtz can do so well. The shortest couple on TV! Why not... Krumholtz was already part of what has to be the shortest love triangle in movie history - Brittany Murphy, David Krumholtz, and Stanley Tucci was the tall one at 5'7"!
I don't necessarily love his character, but there's something about him that I like and somehow find intriguing.

I seriously have to ask what movie that was! I love Stanley Tucci.
Sidewalks of New York. Although Stanley Tucci plays a seriously unpleasant person! Actually, none of them are really prizes, but most people end up rooting for Benny and Ashley (DK & BM), and Rosario Dawson probably has the most interesting part. And there is a gorgeous, 3-4 second shot of Rosario Dawson and David Krumholtz walking on a beach on Coney Island at twilight that's just beautiful.
It's a movie more known for being the first movie released after 9/11 than anything else, and there are some striking shots of the Twin Towers that distract from the narrative because of the dates. But it's about a series of love triangles that make a circle (Rosario Dawson is the ex-wife of David Krumholtz, who gets involved with Brittany Murphy, who's also having an affair with Stanley Tucci, who's married to Heather Graham, who's flirting with Ed Burns, who had a one-night stand with Rosario Dawson...).
YOU PUT HOUSE TWICE!!!! And they have different results. The hell? House = Much Love. But not as much as Dr Who though. I apologise for all the spammy fangirl comments I've commented on your journal tonight. In totally fangirl-squee-nutcase mood
