44 Doctor Who Icons
Sep. 21st, 2006 05:11 pm44 icons from the series 2 episode "The Girl in the Fireplace". Bit yellow/orange on some of the colors, but I couldn't help it since the episode is really...yellow/orange.
Lots of everyone in the episode, spoilers probably if you haven't seen the episode. One animated included.
Take a look, like, comment, snag, credit, no hotlinking and enjoy!

The same hairbrush that was still lost during TIP/TSP? Actually, I didn't think she looked so flat in this episode, I think I was more distracted by her makeup job, which seemed to be a theme in itself in season 2.

Date: 2006-09-22 02:47 am (UTC)She did seem to be careless with that thing. She did have messy moments in S1, but they were mostly action moments. Sometimes in S2, it was as if she used the egg-beater instead of a hairbrush.
Speaking of hair, I was LOL last night listening to the commentary on The Revengers Tragedy when Alex Cox was talking about "what long hair Chris has" (http://walford.smugmug.com/gallery/611036/1/26733929) in the opening sequence. He shaves it off later, but still...

The Revengers Tragedy
I'm gonna have to see that one, aren't I?

Date: 2006-09-22 03:25 am (UTC)Yes. Although similar messiness looked fetching on both Ida and Scooti - it only really works if one has curly(ish) hair.

I was ::ahem:: assembling some materials to send to a friend, and I was making the materials in chronological order...and realized that between 2001 and 2003, he did Linda Green, Othello, Revengers Tragedy, (Flesh and Blood, which I unfortunately do not have), and Second Coming. That is a stunning range of performances. Even I was impressed! As great as he is in DW, it's really only a taste of what he can do.

Date: 2006-09-22 04:47 am (UTC)Actually, I think Strumpet comes in that period, too. A weird one, to be sure, but it sticks with me more than I would have thought.
