Operation Petticoat
Sep. 24th, 2006 02:41 pmThis movie contains two of my old loves, Cary Grant and Tony Curtis and involves a pink submarine. So I have to share these with you all.
A little about the movie, Operation Petticoat:
Cary plays a Commander who has to put a broken submarine back into commission and Tony plays an officer that can help, in a very unconventional way (illegal means). Add in five nurses they rescue, and well, one can only imagine.
1016 caps, split into two files. Images unaltered.
X-Men will be next.

Date: 2006-09-24 08:57 pm (UTC)There is a no-frills version of Some Like It Hot that I sometimes see in bargain bins for $4-5, although even the bells-and-whistles version can be had for under $20.

Date: 2006-09-24 09:41 pm (UTC)You know, one way of (in the long run) getting a great run of cheap classic films *if* you have TCM and/or FMC: a DVD recorder (the Presidian brand is very good and usually less than $100 at Radio Shack) and a stack of DVDRs. Since many classics don't come with extras anyway, you can record tons of great movies at DVD quality without commercials.
