Just a quick update to say that that was probably one of the best episodes of Battlestar Galactica I've seen since God(s) knows when.

Seriously, I cried.  Twice.

SPOILERS HERE
Because of Tigh.  That man broke my heart this episode.  The actor has given one of the best performances because he's been so underrated.  Amazing.

I'm shocked by my indifference to the Kara plot.  But I kinda saw that happening, that the kid was gonna end up belonging to someone else.

THAT'S MY LEE!!  Sorry about your ship, but you still rocked, and I'm liking you Dee, keep it up!  Too bad about the Pegasus, but what a way to go, huh?  Alright now Lee, you got your jogging buddy back now, so you're losing the weight, yeah?

Watching this show with my dad is really amusing because he never expects anything.  Like, when the woman was taking Kacey, thanking Kara for saving her, my dad was in complete shock.  He was like, "OMG, Starbuck's gonna be screwed up now.  She's gonna be killing some Cylons."

And my dad so felt for Tigh.

The battle sequences were awesome, and I'd have more to say but I'm just in awe of this episode.  I watched it 2 times in a row, thanks to SciFi.  Probably catch it again sometime later.

Next week though?  It's gonna hurt and it's going to be an awesome episode.

Aw, I was happy he shaved it off, although I didn't really need to see him do it.

I need to stop reading spoilers. I know too much! But still, there are gonna be surprises.

I know what you mean about next week. It feels to me that when they punish these people, they're not seeing them as humans, I think it's possible that things have gone so far that to some of them Cylon collaborators=Cylons.

I like that they don't gloss over things, but it doesn't make it any easier to stomach!

I was a tad underwhelmed by the previous episodes of the season, but this one totally blew my mind!!! OMG! I also got a bit teary-eyed in the Tigh/Ellen "farewell" scene, so sad!! And then, the Adama/Tigh reunion by the end of the episode got me all verklempt, seriously!

I'm liking Lee/Dee a lot this season! Their scenes together seem to be better written so YAY!!!

Those final shots of Kara and Tigh when everyone is celebrating by the end of the episode broke my heart!!! Things will never be the same for those two, and I foresee a lot of very interesting comflicts between those who endured the hell of New Caprica and the ones who didn't!

I was crying in the Tigh/Adama scene, for real. Major props to the actor for his scenes so far this season and for putting what he has into his character. For all of the actors really. So many of these characters could just be one note, but I still feel some sort of sympathy for Baltar, I cried for Tigh!

I wonder if the previous episode was "boring" because they knew this would rock? I have to admit that last week wasn't as exciting as the premiere and that by comparison, this episode was the best EVAH. But even rewatching it, it's just really a fantastic episode.

Poor Tigh and Kara, where do they do from here?

I've not too many complaints about Lee/Dee, so they should try to keep it up. Although, I have noticed now that their scene in the beginning was awkward. I am so looking forward to analyzing their relationship, because I know I will be soon.
