So, regarding the spoiler about the romance that will happen on Torchwood.

Gwen's gonna have an affair with OWEN.  There's been no mention, I believe, regarding any romance for Jack.  Nine's love made him celibate.

I'm looking forward to it.  I think it'll be interesting, very interesting and I want to see how it's handled.

It's not the pairing that I thought would be fun to see, but that's okay.  I'm sort of used to that.

Also, I'm going ahead and making myself a graphics comm, where all my icons and other pretty artistic stuff will go.  Look for the official announcement in the next week!

I hope it's a good interesting and I'm glad they're not going with the obvious male lead/female lead even though it's sort of obvious someone has a crush.

Of course, as you said, if I were to cheat, it'd be with Jack.

I'm not surprised that Gwen and Owen will end up fooling around, though I'm hoping Rhys doesn't find out. That poor guy would be heartbroken. I also love the question, in the interview, about whether there'd be anything between Jack and Ianto ::laugh::

Rhys is a good guy. And totally foolish over Gwen. It would be sad to see him broken up over it. And for Owen? I mean, great character and all, but c'mon. It's not like it's Jack. ^.^

Oh, I meant it's not Jack as in Owen's not worth breaking up with Rhys over, but a fling with Jack probably would be. I don't want Gwen with Jack, I think it's overdone and the UST is too fun to fuck with, there (and I'm holding out for the Doctor to come back and sweep him off his feet...I bet Jack and Martha would get together SO well) (or, well, Ianto! ^.^).

I figured that's what you meant. And personally I don't think either of them would be worth breaking things up with Rhys. Owen, well, self explanatory and with Jack, well, he's gonna always love Nine.

And hopefully Ten, someday, too ^.^ Hm, maybe having been so hurt by the loss of Nine, Jack wouldn't interfere with someone else's relationship, and that's why he's just groped Gwen a bit, and not tried anything? Mature!relationship!Jack ^.^ Still, they wouldn't want to go too early with a Jack/Gwen romance if they're going to ever do it, because we're all still hoping for a second series and all.

As I'm not all that into Ten, I hope Jack doesn't like him as much as Nine. But that's my own opinion.

Has Jack ever had a relationship? ;) I think maybe he misinterpreted the kiss at the end of "Day One", and that gave us the gun scene and she left, and that gave us the sweet, very friendly ending scene in "The Ghost Machine".

Really? I mean, I find Ten annoying, at times, but I think he has his good points. Though, I do miss Nine (who doesn't, really?). I'm sure that even if Jack ends up on good times with Ten, he'll miss Nine, and considering they might be pretty mean to each other at first, maybe he'll even say something about how Nine was better or something ^.^

Well, besides the nookie he was totally getting off of the Dr Who OT3 he was in? ;) We don't know, which sucks in an intriguing way. But, if he were never in a romantic relationship, that means he'd associate them more with friendships, and want to preserve that sort of thing more, I would think.

*shrugs* I just didn't warm up to Ten, didn't like him that much. But I'm looking forward happily to the next season. And from hearing how little Jack's going to be on Doctor Who, who knows how they'll get along.

Well, I think episode three may have been a starting point. They both experienced something from the ghost machine and they seemed to get along better in that episode.

I don't think it's going to happen in this next episode so they'll probably set it up more.

Erm. Well my first reaction was 'ewwwwww', but I'm not sure. Hmm. I'm not sure I like Owen much, but *shrug*. I@m not all that bothered about the romance, I'm looking forward to finding out something/anything about what Jack thinks of the Dr leaving him on satellite 5 & all that.

And randomly, I am glad I've got you on my flist, for the nine-love - all my friends prefer 10 to 9 =(

Jack was a huge mystery /anyway/, when he was with Rose & the Doctor - does that mean that as well as the whole satellite 5 thing, we should eventually/possibly be finding out about his missing memories or whatever it was?

Yeah, it's suddenly gone wintery, it's all clear & cold & lovely. It's november, and it's hot? Is it always like that?
I suddenly want to have a good think about, if Tardis!Rose made Jack unharmable, the implications of that on all the other stuff she did - daleks, &c. Although, I can't remember what else she did do apart from destroy daleks & resurrect Jack. Hmm. Ooh, I just remembered I've got a 4th Dr ep about daleks to watch that i recorded the other day.

I think with TARDIS!Rose, I think people were reading too much into. I've always believed that what we saw she did, is what happened, end of story. Basically though, with Rose gone, they don't have to explore that anymore and it's probably dropped forever.

Since Jack doesn't even know how he was brought back to life, it's not technically confirmed that it was TARDIS!Rose who did it, but it's really the only explanation since he's looking for the Doctor to explain it to him.
