Torchwood 'Ships and Misc.
Nov. 6th, 2006 10:25 pmApparently now when it comes to shipping in Torchwood, I like different ones depending on each episode.
Now, it's all TOSHIKO/JACK. They're cute. Seriously. Has someone done a comm for them?
Although Tosh/Gwen's still pretty tops all. I suppose some are reluctant to ship Owen and someone?
Hehe, I'm entertained by my icon. I'll need to watch that movie(The Burbs) again.
Elections are tomorrow. VOTE if you can. I'm not going to express my opinions but there is this one measure in Michigan that I would love to pass and everyone and their mother is against it. I'm still not sure why because the measure makes SENSE. But I don't live there, probably never will, so whatever.
Also, you all should check out this website. It has recordings of accents from around the world, probably near to all the regions, and it's addicting to listen to them all. I was particually drawn to the New Zealand dialect.
Thanks for the link goes to

Date: 2006-11-07 05:11 am (UTC)Dammit, you got me all excited for that website, and they don't have ANYONE from Western PA. Eastern and Western PA have totally different dialects. Dammit. Oh, well, I'll always have pittsburghese.com

Date: 2006-11-07 06:17 am (UTC)I didn't listen to a lot of the American accents. I went straight to Canada, and then listened to the TWO from Wales, and a couple of the English ones.
It's hard for me to hear the differences in a lot of the American accents, unless you give me someone from the New England area, the South, Midwest and California. I'm terrible.
I was looking for the differences in the FL accent, because it's more Southern up north and not in Central FL and then we have South FL. But they were all the same. :(
