I think you all know how much I love my userpics, so in honor that, here's meme in relation to them, as stolen from quiet_fractures:

I love looking at people's icons, but I don't always *get* them - I often wonder stuff like, "Who's that guy?" or "Where's that quote from?" but I tend not to ask, for various reasons. So come on, here are my icons. Pick one (or more!) you're curious about, and I'll try to explain it. Or at least explain what I like about it.

Heh, that's from a movie, The 'Burbs. Later 1980s movie, with Tom Hanks where something suspicious is happening in the suburbs. Anyway, the text is actually a quote from the movie where all the characters are in the suspicious neighbors house and Tom Hanks' character went through their mail and found a hairpiece and stuffed it in his pants to take out of the neighbors house. Later that night he takes it out, and that's where that quote comes in. Did that make sense? This icon is also a quote from the movie.

The second is the Brig from DW. That's the other icon I don't know the context of.

Sorry to butt in, but ever since I saw that Brig icon, I've really wanted to see whatever episode it's from. The Brigadier rocks big style =D

Ah, that one would be from Grey's Anatomy, let me know if you're unfamiliar with it, and one of the they're hugging. The quote is actually from the show Arrested Development I've been told.

I'm unfamiliar with Grey's Anatomy & Arrested Development, lol. I was gunna watch Grey's Anatomy, see what it's like, but I never got round to it.

For the JD in the bathtub, I believe that's when he's staying at Elliot's, and the text is what he's thinking. And the payback is a bitch is when Cox gets back at JD for something and a choir pops up singing it with him "Payback is a bitch".
