Okay, y'all knew I'd be writing someone about the fall finale of BSG! Especially after that episode!

I just want to preface it by saying something about why I feel what I feel about characters:

I sort of treat characters as if they were real, if I knew them in real life, would I like them? And I base my feelings like that. If I knew Starbuck in real life, would I like her? Not really, no. That explains my detached feelings for her until...


...Now! When I was about to watch "Unfinished Business", I had a feeling that I would really hate Kara for whatever she did to Lee. Not because I love Lee, but because I already had very lukewarm feelings for Kara and this just wasn't going to put her in a good light.

And yet, I didn't hate her. I loathed the actions she took, and yet, not her. I've come to the conclusion that what it is, they used to try and excuse her actions and behavior. They tried and let us know why she was doing what she was doing and I kept disliking her more and more. So when they stopped making excuses for what she was doing, I started to get her more. It's weird, I know.

So that brings us to last night where we see her and Lee have a very hot make-out session. Holy hell was it hot. And it was only kissing. Hot damn!

Anyway, I hate it. Because they're cheating on their spouses. Kara won't get a divorce because of the pleadge she made in front of their Gods, even though, as Lee pointed out, she is breaking it anyway. I think it's easy to deduce, IMHO, that Kara's hiding. She knows that as soon as she's free from marriage, Lee's going to pursue a heavy relationship and she can't do that. She can't commit to him right now. So, she can keep her vow and have Lee too. She's having fun with him, she probably loves being with him like this. But at the same time, she still cares, probably still loves Sam. I don't want to get into their relationship because I'm still not a fan of Anders. He gets on my nerves, has since season 2. I understand what he's saying, and he's right, Lee shouldn't be doing that with Kara, but he's letting his feelings get in the way, which is, as Lee should know, a problem.

Also, Lee can't continue because it's weighing on his heart everytime he looks at Dee. And this is the part that got me...Lee and Kara's voices start breaking when she asks what do they do? And she looks like she's about to cry, as well as him. They really want this, but can't find the circumstances because they're BOTH hiding behind their respective spouses, Kara because she's like that and Lee because he's probably fucking terrified of getting his heart torn again. But Lee knows that if Kara divorces Sam for him, then it's something real. Therefore, he won't divorce Dee until Kara divorces Sam. I think at least.

Okay, that's enough for now.

I want to admit how much I loved Dee ignoring Kara. Sorry, as much as I don't actually hate or dislike Kara right now, she deserves it. What makes it better is that she's not treating Lee any nicer. I saw it said somewhere, Dee's going to force Lee to admit that the marriage isn't working, she's going to make him break it off because he basically started it. And I'm sorry, I don't care what you say, no Dee doesn't deserve this kind of treatment.

So, moving on to the rest of the story. Okay, I'm sorry, I don't care how much fandom is going to lynch me for this or how cute he is, I want to fucking strangle Helo. That comment he made to Adama last night made me glad I could pause while I was watching because I was literally yelling at the TV last night.

On top of that we had the episode where he took the chance AWAY of getting rid of the Cylons. Yes, Helo, it would weigh on their hearts. But you know what wouldn't? THE DEATHS OF INNOCENTS. Because if the Cylons had been taken out, THEY WOULDN'T BE IN THIS FUCKING MESS. Argh, he is just pissing me off and I don't see it getting better. I know they wouldn't get rid of the Cylons, and Ron probably wanted to send the message that what they were comtemplating was wrong, but damnit, FIND ANOTHER FUCKING WAY INSTEAD OF GIVING ME CHARACTER RAGE!!! Fuck you anyway Ron.

Good of Roslin to not excuse her actions in regards to Sharon's baby. But damn was it awesome to see Adama just walk out like that!

Was I the only one to think that maybe CHIEF is one of the final five Cylons? That's my theory now. Except, he got Cally pregnant and that probably throws my theory way off and he really is someone who's being touched my this Eye of Jupiter. I don't know.

The trailer for when the season comes back pissed me off. This isn't the Lee and Kara show, I don't care how much I'm enjoying their relationship and please to be STOPPING THAT FUCKING MUSIC.

What am I missing?

Oh, the Cylon storyline that intrigued me when everyone else didn't like it? It's thrown me off now. Heh, I love being opposite of everyone. Also, please to be using Tricia Helfer properly.

I missed a huge amount of episodes, so I'm really, really confused and should probably go and read the wiki, or something. But I've watched the last few episodes and...Starbuck is really fricking annoying. Like, she's the sort of woman no other woman would ever like, because she's blatantly heartless, and lots of people use the excuse of feminism and whatnot to try to like her. Drives me insane.

I kind of like Lee, too (guess I missed the episodes that made people not like him so much), so I spend most of the scenes with him and Starbuck cringing.

Starbuck always seems most worried about herself, very self-involved even, takes extreme measures sometimes to protect herself, but loyal to those she cares about and would do anything to protect them.

While yes, I have problems with her, have since the show started, I'm started to understand her which makes me not hate her. But she's nowhere near my favorite. She's very fucked up but hasn't learned that childhood traumas can only excuse you for so long.

And Lee, he's been my fave forever, and they fucked up his story in season 2. But he's still my favorite and people can bitch about him but he's still awesome in my book.

Yeah, if you have a problem with one of the characters, it's extremely hard to ship them in this series.

Helo's getting on my last nerve! The fun thing about BSG is that he'll do something to make me like him again. I like the fact that no one is all bad or all good on this show.

I don't necessarily feel sorry for Dee, but at least she turned Billy down when it counted. Add to the fact that I liked Dee a lot longer than I sort of like Kara and there ya go!

Have you heard some of the rumors/spoilers for the second part of the season? I'm curious about your thoughts on them.

Having multiple Lee's can never be a bad thing, but I don't trust Ron to explain how Lee was raised in a family and they believe him to be his biological son.

Roslin...would be interesting because she's out for the Cylons for much.

I heard it was a major character(I've heard who is supposedly is), one that you would never suspect and it's not making a lot of people happy at all.

Yeah, I don't know what they were doing casting them as father and son, I really don't.

That would be pretty cool. And Moore has pretty much already said that someone we know is a Cylon.

Kara is Ron's darling, which I have my problems with, so I really really doubt he'd get rid of her permanently. But having read that, I have to agree, he's not making such a big deal out of it because he's not saying they're getting rid of a major lead character.

9/10 I hate Ron, so I can never predict what he'll do. He's worse than SGA PTB.
