3 Things I Learned...

1. Billie Piper blinks a lot. No, seriously, a lot. Ruins what's otherwise a good cap. Sometimes it's funny, and I laugh. But not at her, with her. Because...she'd laugh too if she saw it? Anyway...

2. Chris Eccleston is very animated, which can make the man very hard to icon. But oh so funny to flip through the screencaps. And his mouth is always open. We joke about the fact that Ten talks a lot, Nine did too, my caps prove that one.

3. David Tennant has like, 3 facial expressions. Happy(a smile), Sad(pouting with the lower lip), and Anger(you know, where you can see all his teeth and you think he has rabies or something). It can be quite amusing.

OMG, this mood theme pic makes me wanna cry. How often did we see that? I have to watch "The Long Game" again. I must be sick to love that episode like I do.

2. Chris Eccleston is very animated

He does do a lot with his face, and he works "bigger" on Who than usual. I swear, when he and Jabe were flirting in EOTW, I expected him to go totally Tex Avery. Geez, I'm not surprised Rose told them to get a room.

David Tennant has like, 3 facial expressions. Happy(a smile), Sad(pouting with the lower lip), and Anger(you know, where you can see all his teeth and you think he has rabies or something). It can be quite amusing.

Ah yes, the "I'm so cute I can't stand myself" smile, the goldfish impression of angsty!woe (pass the glycerine), and the monkey-scrunch of anger. ::ducks from angry fangirls:: But you know it's true!

That is a very pretty icon indeed. I'm currently incredibly enamoured of this one which is supposed to be fetishizing the jacket, but frankly, I'm in it for the hands, the wrist (with watch), and the way he stands.

I have to watch "The Long Game" again. I must be sick to love that episode like I do.

I have great affection for it, too, and it makes sense to some degree, because RTD admits it was written almost totally to capitalize on the Eccleston/Piper chemistry.

His angry face is just laughable. I mean, I could do a comparison of Angry!Ten and Angry!Nine and I know for a fact I would be scared to death to face Nine, my fault or not.

Oh I love that part of "Bad Wolf". I think it's the most confident we see him and it's glorious and even a little bit funny.

I don't know about Nine and Jabe, but maybe Chris and Yasmin did. They did more in a couple of scenes than Tennant and Myles even hinted at in an entire episode. This is the thing - TW12 proved that you can do a convincing love story in 42 minutes (there are two episodes of ST:TNG that pull it off), so GitF has no excuse.

His angry face is just laughable

[Sibyl Fawlty} Oh, I know! [/Sibyl Fawlty] I don't get the "ooh, he does quiet anger so well" either, because he really doesn't. He looks (forgive me) slightly constipated, but he doesn't seem scary. In the scene at the pool in SR, I fully expected Anthony Head to go all "oooo, er, get her!"

That's true. He's almost giddily promiscuous in that one. Except with Adam. Thank God. I still don't get the "he's a little bit pretty" because, well, he's not. I also don't get the Ianto love. He looks like a fetus. How can that be sexy?

That's what I kept thinking, where did GitF go wrong? (I have a couple answers for that one)

Oh, I've watch Nine many times, I could watch CE over and over again in those episodes.

Yeah, TLG was with Adam. It's not my favorite, but it's definitely one of my guilty pleasures out of those episodes.

I think it was that Nine and Rose were a bit light-hearted and happy, and it's, I think, the only time we see them like that.

And of course the "I'll hug anybody" from Nine.

Oh yes!

All the T fangirls go on about how pretty and expressive he is, and I've never denined that he's a hansome bloke (Who I'm gonna see live in about 8 hrs, Eeeee) But Compared to Chris, no contest.

Me and wiccagal_1996 have this idea that we wanna try:
Take a Random scene of Chris' and a random scene of Dvaid'sof similar or same length, Cap the shit out of both, Then count up all the indavidual facial expression and then, just for fun, Make a comparative PicSpam post.

I think it could be interesting, the only rule, Not the 'Rant' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5N9Ikv1B20) scene from Othello (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0275577/), cos thats just not fair. ;)
