*bounces* YAY, I GOT "Perfect Parents", which means I can sit down and relax and watch it tomorrow morning/afternoon.

From the way the person said it seemed like a rehash of the scene in Sateda, makes it sound like Teyla's playing fill in the blanks with John. We know that John likes to protect his "family", and whether we like it or not, Teyla's a part of his Family and she was taken.

It doesn't exactly sound like shippy from how this person talked about it, just mentioning that Teyla had more of a role and probably naturally pointed out the end with her and John, where he was naturally checking up on his teammate.

Um...there was another summary that didn't even mention it?

Ah, I read in another review about why that one summary said the end scene was a rehash, John tells Teyla that what he did, saving her I presume, he would have done for anyone and that she wasn't special. Probably said with a wink, I don't really know, but this reviewer didn't mention anything shippy. Didn't even mention that scene in her review, that was in the comments.

Well, I thought Elizabeth has had pretty good presence in these episodes, "Irresponsible" aside, which I still haven't seen. But I wouldn't let any shippiness get to you, they're not going to do anything in this episode. Set your worries on the next one. ;)

That's interesting that you say that, John didn't have to explain to Elizabeth that he would have done that for anyone, but he said it to Teyla. It could go either way, trying to hide from Teyla, which I don't think he was, he was probably, hopefully, just jesting around. With Elizabeth, why would there be any need to say that? It was Elizabeth, of course he'd rush in there. ;)

The pessimist in me thinks that Sheppard insisting he's treating Teyla the same way he would anyone else is tptb's way of hinting that Sheppard is hiding his true feelings for Teyla. I think either tptb are going with Sparky and doing it very lightly or they are going with Sheyla and doing a crappy job of it.

I want to be optimistic about SGA, but with all my other shows burning me, it's becoming harder and harder. But until I see that they are erasing everything Sparky, I must remain optimistic!

Sparky I would put my money on, Sheyla has been very little this season, just "The Return Part 1", and if you want to count it, "Sateda".

I will probably watch "The Ark" later today because I WILL be watching CE's "Perfect Parents", that bitch took forever to finally download, so I'm watching it.
