I thought the food thing was funny, too - especially since he's so skinny. And it was kind of neat that there was no reference to Who whatsoever! And that he's obviously got tons of work lined up.

BTW, did you ever get a chance to watch Perfect Parents?

I was very impressed with no references to DW! And I'm excited about his upcoming works!

Where did you read that? I'm curious - because normally what you read/hear in interviews is that he's quiet, shy, easily embarrassed by flattery, but rather sweet and occasionally (depending on his mood) downright flirtatious and charming. Though very guarded, particularly about his personal life.

I don't think he hates Who - I just think he's very focused on what he's doing now. I can easily see how DW an interview about Heroes now could completely overshadow the new stuff. He now moans and groans dramatically about how bad he was Gone in 60 Seconds (well, the movie was crap, but he was one of the few actors to come out relatively unscathed) and Elizabeth (he's a perfectionist, I've never seen anything but good-to-rave reviews for his performance), but he has some distance and perspective on them.

The food part was pretty funny. And it sounds like he's gonna stay in America for a while (that's the impression I'm getting, anyway).

He said in the interview that he moved over here last summer, so it sounds like it might be sticking around here for a little while, I think.

OMFG, I cannot wait until Monday, I'm going to have to watch it without my dad though because I'll be squeeing a bit loudly at the screen.

OK, so if they're working on the 16th episode now, and he's leaving in 2 weeks.. *frantically trying to calculate how many episodes he'll be on* Aww, I wish he'd just become a regular character. I hope they don't kill him off! Seriously, what happened to him in.. this one movie I don't think you've seen so I won't say what it is--it was traumatizing.

He said he was leaving in 2 weeks? I must have skipped that part.

That would be awesome if he became a regular! Aw, I'm gonna miss him, 'cause we all know he's not gonna be on for a long time, and he had other projects in the works. SUCH A BUSY MAN. Oh I love him.

He said, "In about two weeks I go off to Bucharest to make a film called The Dark Is Rising.." &c. So does that mean no more Heroes episodes? The way he talked about living in the US makes me think it's a permanent thing. I'm not sure, though. Haha, wow, I had no idea he was here!

I hope he does lots of projects here. I thought it was neat that he said he likes American TV, since usually when people comment on it (including me) it's something critical. I'm really curious what the reaction to him will be.

I am counting down the days. This is SO EXCITING. He's going to be on a major TV show! A good TV show!! Yay!

Yeah, he's sure busy. I wonder when that New Orleans movie is coming out? Oh--is he supposed to be American in that? Hmmm..

It would be amazing. Now, when I mention David Tennant, a few people know who he is for Harry Potter, but there's not really something like that for CE.

I really hope he does get to do some theater here. Especially in New York--that would be amazing! Plus they sometimes have previews for Broadway shows in DC :3

So apparently the trailer for that movie has been online for a little while now.. and he does have an American accent in it! Hmmm. Interesting.

The accent sounded decent, I think. I couldn't really tell as it was only a few lines. I thought I could hear his accent creeping in a little but it's weird because I'm so used to his voice. Bush goes ballistic about other countries being evil and dangerous, because they have weapons of mass destruction. But, he insists on building up even a more deadly supply of nuclear arms right here in the US. What do you think? Why has bush turned our country from a country of hope and prosperity to a country of belligerence and fear.
If ever there was ever a time in our nation's history that called for a change, this is it!
We have lost friends and influenced no one. No wonder most of the world thinks we suck. Thanks to what george bush has done to our country during the past three years, we do!
