Anyone on my f-list not know who Chris Eccleston is, besides me proclaiming him my greatest love? *points to icon* :P

I was bored, so I've provided pictures for your entertainment, you know, just in case you don't know who he is.




*swoons* His pretty pretty blue eyes. This is my favorite look on him, the shaved hair and stubble or whatever. And he should always wear blue.


Black and white photos were invented for this man, I swear. The neck!

This is #1. (I colored the photo a bit because it was so red and kinda ugly)


This is him as the Doctor, Nine, the first character I ever truly fell in love with. Seriously.


And him on Heroes, I love this cap.

So there you go, see how beautiful he is? *swoons again* There may or may not be drool on my keyboard, so I'm done for now.

BTW, this is just pictoral evidence of why I love this man, my brains are a little buzzed right now, but later I might be persuaded to give actual reasons for loving the man.

Photo #1 - definitely my favourite look.

Photo #2 - possibly the best portrait photo I've ever seen of anyone - both in capturing character and just abstract beauty.

4 & 6 - just beautiful portraiture. It helps that he's beautiful, but they are really excellent photographs. There's a reason they show up in tons of icons!

That's what's actually a little unnerving - I've never seen him in person, but I've seen the way people react to him on TV when they see him in person, and there's always this double-take - Jonathan Ross was practically google-eyed for the first part of the interview. It was quite entertaining.

Although there's also this brief glimpse of him behind the scenes on the League of Gentlemen DVD (I'm sorry, not even Chris Eccleston can make that watchable for me), but he's just lounging around in jeans on Mark Gatiss's couch (I'm sure MG is happy about that), and there is something quite obviously pretty about him in that moment that's different from the usual bony/angular/beautiful look.

A lot of times you hear that an actor/actress is better looking in real life, unless you're David Tennant ;), and you're right, it is a little unnerving to think the man's better in person!

Hmmm...I can't seem to take him too seriously with the floppy hair. I think he needs the shorter hair, but hey, if I can love how he looked in Heroes, I suppose his hair doesn't matter!

He's not your classically handsome bloke by by golly he's sure got something - I don't know if it's charisma or a magnetism but I can't take my eyes off him no matter who else is in a picture.

Hollywood wouldn't consider him another Brad Pitt, but you're right. There is most certainly something about him. And personally, he beats Brad Pitt and any other Hollywood star.

Oh, the AWE!!! This man is so incredible, I can't stop watching his magnetic eyes!

As for the look, I like him best cleanshaven, but I don't mind the sexy stubble at all. So far, I think he looked his best in Revengers Tragedy, Doctor Who (of course!), Cracker, Jude, I am Dina, Heart and Hearts and Minds.
The only scenes I'd like to delete from my mind were those of him with the long, shaggy hair in The Invisible Circus: he looked a bit too weird there for my taste! *shudders*

I get that. I had a little trouble watching him on Heroes because the full beard and mustache reminded me too much of my dad.
